Jeanette Myers

Director of Music

Jeanette Myers has served at Lutheran Chapel since 1984. She is a native of Asheville, North Carolina and a graduate of Mars Hill University with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. Jeanette is a retired band director with the Gaston County Schools with thirty three years of teaching experience. She focuses on the Cherub, Luther and Crossroads choirs. She also directs the Hand bell choir and plays with the brass choir. Additionally, she accompanies the Chapelvoices choir and plays keyboard for the 8:30 worship service.

Jeanette plays the French horn in the Gaston Symphonic band and the Winthrop Wind Symphony. Jeanette and her husband of almost forty years, Roger, have two adult sons. Her two favorite hymns are “When in Our Music God is Glorified” and “It is Well with my Soul”.
